Spoofing- E-mail spoofing is when the heading of an e-mail has been forged to make it seem like it has come from somewhere or someone other than an actual source. This is how spam is often distributed.
Spamming- The abuse of e-mail to send bulk messages, also known as unsolicited bulk email (UBE) or unsolicited commercial email (UCE). This often contain commercial content.
Virus- A computer code sent to you via e-mail note as an attachment. If opened it usually destroys files on your hard disk and resends itself to everyone on your contact list.
Worm- A self replicating computer program it uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computer terminals on the network) and it may do so without any user intervention. Unlike a virus it does not need to attach itself to existing programs.
Trojan- A malware that performs unexpected or unauthorized, often malicious, actions.
